I am a San Diego native. Vietnam era US Army veteran, small business owner, husband, father of two, and grandfather of five.

My wife and I have been monthly volunteer mentors to 11th grade students along with 60 other volunteers at Clairemont High School for many years.

Our son and daughter are both employed in public school education.
